Register Now - Youth Basketball
Date: 9/28/08 –11/1/08
Description: The YMCA Youth Basketball League is designed to teach boys and girls the skills and rules of basketball. While developing these basic skills, the children will also learn the value of fair play and good sportsmanship. Each player will receive a jersey, an award, and a ton of fun memories with friends.

Register Now - Adult Basketball
Date: 10/3/08 –10/22/08
Description:
Register now for our new adult league basketball.
Cost: $50 per player for Metro Members and $70 per player for Program Members
Season: Games start Thursday, October 30 and end December 11. Championship games will be played on Dec 18th. Games are played every Thursday at 6:30, 7:30, and 8:30pm. There are no games on Nov. 6 or Nov. 27.
Registration: Registration ends on Oct. 22
Draft: On October 23, captains will meet with league officials to conduct a draft of registered players.
Jerseys: Each player will receive a reversible mesh jersey that must be worn for each game.
Games: Each game will consist of four quarters each lasting ten minutes.
Players: Must be at least 18 years of age
Officials: Each game will have paid referees and a scorekeeper.

Leaders Club Bake Sale

Masquerade Party

Description: On Saturday, October 19th from 8:15 until 10:45, the Jerry L. Garver will be having its annual Masquerade Party. The evening will feature a mystery maze, mummy wrapping contests, and best costume awards. This event is for youth ages 11-17. The cost is $3 for Metro members and $5 for non-members. Concessions will be available to purchase as well. Registration is required to attend. Please call Tricia Bonar at 834-9622 to sign-up or for more information.

Basketball Open House

Basketball Open House - Featuring Treg Lee
Date: Thursday, November 6 from 6:30p-8:30p.
Come join us for an evening of basketball fun featuring special guest and OSU standout Treg Lee. During the 90-91 season, he led the Buckeyes in both field goal (58.1%) and free throw percentage (88.9%). Treg will help lead a variety of drills and activities to teach basketball skills and fundamentals. This event is free and you do not have to be registered in the league to participate. You can register for the league during the event.
Please be sure to wear athletic clothes as well as basketball court appropriate shoes. Players are also encouraged to bring a water bottle.
