An exercise discipline that dates back to ancient India, yoga involves moving the body through a series of positions and stretches, while focusing on breathing or specific thoughts. The practice delivers unique and vital benefits, which include increased energy levels, lower blood pressure, improved memory, better balance and sense of calm.

Yoga & Pilates Classes include

Broga: Men Only. Downtown YMCA Only. "The BROGA Mission" is to offer men real tools for coping with daily stresses and demands through an accessible yoga-based fitness program taught from a man’s point of view. Gentle Yoga: Work to strengthen weak muscles, open tight muscles and balance your body for optimum health in this slower-paced class. Schedules

Hatha Yoga: Use postures (asana) and stretches in combination with the breath to develop flexibility and relaxation. Schedules

Power Yoga: A rigorous workout that develops strength, flexibility, and helps create a lean, total body while keeping students on the move. It combines a series of flowing postures with rhythmic breathing for an intense body-mind workout. Power yoga is directed at creating the highest level of energy, vitality and freedom. Schedules

SilverSneakers Yoga: SilverSneakers Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. Schedules

Vinyasa Yoga: A vigorous and challenging style of yoga that links postures and breath to build heat, flexibility, strength and mental focus. Schedules
