Meet at 11:30 AM behind Tim Horton’s at the Great Southern Shopping Center located on South High Street - (US 23). Be sure to make use of the restrooms here because there are NO restrooms at the hike site.

Take US 23 South. Just north of Chillicothe take the SR 207 exit. Turn left and then turn right on Hospital road. Take Hospital road for less than a mile and turn Left onto Delano Rd (if you get to the hospital you’ve gone to far). When you reach Marietta Rd turn Right (there will be a sign for Great Seal SP). Go PAST the main entrance. Look for an open field on your left. Immediately after this field turn left. You will still be on Marietta Rd. You will come to a 3-way stop. Go straight through it. The second right is Lick Run Road. Turn right and follow the road for about 1 mile to the trailhead on you right. There are NO restrooms at the trailhead. The main entrance of Great Seal SP has pit toilets.

| Hike description: |
|
We will be hiking sections M, L, K, I, J, S, R. This includes Rocky Knob, Rock Garden, Grouse Rock trails and parts of the St. Ives and Shawnee Ridge trails. The terrain goes from very step to rolling with many hills with some steep but short climbs. Most of the hills are traversed by long switchbacks thanks to the mountain biking groups who have made many trial modifications over the past few years. Making this one of the top mountain biking areas in the state. The trail is challenging but fun. Be prepared for mud and to spend almost 4 hours on the hike. |

| Dinner location and directions: |
|
Dinner will be at Ponderosa Steak House 800 N. Bridge St. Chillicothe. Go North on Lick Run Road. Turn left on Rocky Road. At 3-way stop turn left onto Marietta Road. Take it about 3 miles to N. Bridge road. Turn left and the restaurant will be on the right.
