Letter from the YMCA to the Delaware Community

Welcome to the Recreation Services Division of the City of Delaware, managed by the Delaware YMCA Community Center. The recreation programs are being managed through a unique relationship between the City of Delaware and the YMCA of Central Ohio. Our hope for this partnership is to expand programming, reduce costs and expand community partnerships while using the strengths of the City and the YMCA.

Services we provide are the following;

• Rental of All Park Facilities, Ball fields, pavilions, parks and Mingo facilities
• All Youth and Adult programs and leagues offered in our public parks and facilities. EXCEPT: DYAA Soccer, Optimist Club Football/Cheerleading, Lacrosse Leagues, Dunlap Dance/Baton
• Jack Florence Pool at Mingo park membership and Swim Lessons
• Community Special Events i.e. Easter Egg Hunt, Safety Town, Halloween Party
