Types of classes we offer
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.
SilverSneakers® Cardio Fit
Get up and go with an aerobics class that’s safe, heart-healthy and gentle on the joints. The workout includes easy-to-follow low-impact movement and upper-body strength, abdominal conditioning, stretching and relaxation exercises designed to energize your active lifestyle.
Stability is the newest class designed to help you become stronger and improve balance. The movements taught in class focus on specific exercises to improve strength and power around the ankle, knee and hip joints, while improving your reaction time.
This class recognizes the range of physical abilities in the older adult! The exercises performed will help develop and maintain muscular strength, muscular endurance, balance and coordination. Age has no limits!
Silver Sneakers® Yoga
Move through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses while you enjoy restorative breathing exercises that promote stress reduction and mental clarity. Chair support is offered so you can perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Silver Sneakers® Splash
Join us in the pool for a variety of exercises that can help you build strength and increase your range of movement. A SilverSneakers kickboard is provided for balance support, and you don’t even need swimming skills. This class is FREE AND FOR SILVER SNEAKER MEMBERS ONLY. No need to register! Low to Medium Intensity.
Silver Sneakers® BOOM
Have you hit a fitness plateau? Do you like fast-paced workouts that are done in 30 minutes? Can you handle a challenge? BOOM was developed by leading fitness experts to improve strength, flexibility and endurance in convenient 30-minute workouts. These classes will challenge you, but don't worry: One-handed pushups aren't required.
