YOUTH DEVELOPMENT. The Y provides inclusive opportunities for youth to learn and grow. Our summer day camps give children the opportunity to spend time outdoors. And, the Y’s certified instructors teach children invaluable swimming skills every year so they can be safe and confident around water.

HEALTHY LIVING. Our members are challenged to meet their fullest potential. That's why a Y membership includes FREE Health and Wellness Consultations, Water Fitness and Group Exercise Classes, including BODYPUMP®. Plus, access to Personal Training and our YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY. Through the Y, people from different backgrounds volunteer side by side with neighbors and community partners to improve and contribute to a stronger, more connected society.

Strengthening Community Since 1855

You may know the Y as the place to go to get in a heart-pumping workout, but the Y exists as a non-profit here to meet the needs of the community. We're helping kids, adults and families in Central Ohio neighborhoods become the best version of themselves through numerous programs and services such as: Child CareECRN+financial assistanceYouth & GovernmentJuvenile Justicehousing and so much more.

Everyone is welcome here. We believe diversity enriches and enlivens our Y. When you are a member of the Y, you are helping to strengthen your community.

About Us

Ensuring A Brighter Future.

ECRN+

Preschool/Early Childhood Education

“The Y means everything to me when it comes to Mason. It means he is happy and continuing to move forward a little bit each day with the help of teachers that care about him.”

The Y provides an environment that encourages curiosity, creativity and expression. Children are individuals, and we believe in developing the whole child emotionally, physically, intellectually, and socially, while meeting each child’s own needs and learning styles. Through games, group activities, songs, creative drama, gym time, outdoor play, and story time, children will learn about the world around them. We believe in partnering with parents to encourage whole child development within a safe and nurturing environment.

YMCA Housing and Residential Services

The YMCA’s history is rooted in providing safe, affordable housing for adult men, women and families in need. We serve some of the most vulnerable in our community by providing supportive services needed to live independently again. The Y offers a way to maintain a regular, secure and adequate place for individuals to find a place to rest, to shower, and to simply enjoy a meal, which at times is the only source of food in days.

YMCA Youth & Government The Ohio YMCA's

Youth in Government is a three-day learning conference in which students participate directly in a simulation of the democratic process. Youth in Government offers students the opportunity to learn about a wide variety of issues, develop critical thinking skills, and articulate their beliefs while engaging constructively with those who hold like and opposing views. Teens in the program learn about the legislative process, how to write and research bills, and how to participate in elections. Their work culminates in teens serving as delegates at their state conference, debating bills on the floor of the
