Virtual Y is our first-ever Virtual YMCA. This members-only experience for group fitness and wellbeing to stream anywhere. Virtual Y offers many different types of classes, an ever-growing on-demand video library, and a schedule of Virtual Instructor Lead Classes from YMCA expert instructors.

 

+ What classes are you offering on Virtual Y?

Virtual Y will offer a wide selection of fitness and wellbeing classes, including Strength, Yoga, Cardio Dance, Meditation, Barre Fusion, Pilates, HIIT, Tai Chi, ForeverWell Exercise Classes, and Total Body Conditioning. We're planning more program offerings on Virtual Y beyond Fitness and Wellbeing, to launch later in 2021.

+ Who can access Virtual Y?

Virtual Y is for ALL YMCA of Central Ohio & Virtual Y active members and team members. Virtual Y is included in membership at no additional charge (with some exceptions) – Another Reason Y.

How can I access Virtual Y?

Members will be able to participate in classes from their mobile phone, tablet, or laptop and even cast them to view on their large screen TVs at home. Visit ymcacolumbus.org/virtual-y to login. This members-only experience will be accessible from our website by using your YMCA of Central Ohio membership card number.

Is Virtual Y a separate membership?

There is a Virtual Y Only membership for $8.99 a month.  

Is there a digital-only/Virtual Y-only Membership option at YMCA of Central Ohio?

Yes, it's $8.99 a month.  

Will Virtual Y be expanding beyond its current online program offerings?

Yes. YMCA of Central Ohio is discovering new ways to bring the YMCA experience to your screens as we diversify our content and get more of what you love about the Y to you every day, whether you can make it to your branch Y location or you need to stay home.

Is there a trial available for Virtual Y?

Yes, there is a Free Trial version of Virtual Y.  

Can I cast Virtual Y live streams and on-demand videos to my TV?

Yes, you can! Click the small screen with an arrow icon to cast to any TV with casting options or any casting device like Apple TV, Chromecast, Amazon Fire Stick, or Roku.

Is Y360 going away?

We understand how valuable the Y360 videos have been. Y360 has changed its structure, which no longer includes access for YMCA of Central Ohio members. 

However, we are excited to provide you Live Instructor Lead classes as well as an ever-growing list of on-demand videos. We're committed to helping you reach your health and wellbeing goals and are excited to launch our new platform today.
