We proudly introduce Whitehall Community Park YMCA's Executive Director, Elizabeth Zingale.
Elizabeth Zingale started in the aquatics department of the Rockford YMCA 25 years ago. After moving into the Milwaukee association a few years later, she held positions ranging from aquatics, camp, Leaders Club, safety risk, membership and group ex. She was also instrumental in the launch of the YMCA Young Leaders Academy Charter School and went on to spend five years teaching K-2.
In 2013 Elizabeth and her family moved to Columbus, Ohio. She found new experiences with the YMCA of Central Ohio working as a liaison with branches and board members to develop Annual Campaign strategies. Shortly thereafter, Elizabeth took on the role of Associate Executive Director of the Downtown YMCA and went on to serve as the Executive Director of the Delaware Community Center YMCA.
Between her executive branch roles, Elizabeth put her leadership skills for structure and community collaboration to work on behalf of the Van Buren Center, a shelter service managed by the Y.
Elizabeth is excited to bring her enthusiasm and passion for operations to the Whitehall community. She’s eager to get back to her roots with programming, education and teen development, all key components of the Whitehall operations.
