Right now, on an average night, 250 women, including 30 expectant mothers, and 227 children are spending the night in shelter at Van Buren Center.
The YMCA of Central Ohio, in partnership with dedicated community volunteers, is committed to reuniting women and children experiencing homelessness at our Van Buren Center shelter with their families for the holiday season.
Your help can be the difference between them staying in shelter or going home together to a stable, loving environment. With your support, we drastically can change the holidays – and the future – for these women and families in shelter. With your support, we can help them rebuild their lives.
Every gift can make a difference today for a woman and her family in shelter. Make a gift of $10 or more and you'll receive a Bracelet of Hope to show your support and thank you for giving. The bracelets make great gifts, too - honor a friend or loved one by donating in their name and give the gift of purpose this holiday season!
One hundred percent of funds raised will be used for things like bus tickets, security deposits, assistance – a family’s first critical step toward recovery, healing, and stability.
