An afterschool program setting is the perfect place for youth to immerse themselves in their inner artist. The arts range from the visual arts (creating an art project using different material and mediums provided) to dramatic and/or musical performances presented to families during a Family Night. Exposure to the arts help youth build on their natural creativity, with providing a creative outlet for self and group expression.
Our curriculum, KidzLit fosters opportunities for children to build and develop their literacy skills and interests through drawing pictures, brainstorming, visualizing, drawing, pantomiming and incorporating music. Children are provided additional opportunities to explore the Arts through our art center for exploration and engagement, structured arts and crafts or STEAM activities.
