Our gymnastics classes are based on the National YMCA Progressive Gymnastics Program. Children to have fun while learning gymnastics skills, lifetime skills such as goal setting, safety, self-discipline, and self-confidence, and YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

Types of programs we offer

Tumble Tots (ages 2-3)
A parent/child class that teaches basic large movements using gymnastics fundamentals and apparatus. Parent participation is encouraged.

Tumbleweeds (ages 4-5)
Basic gross motor development is emphasized as the youth learn the fundamentals of gymnastic moves on the floor, beam, bars and vault.

Rollers (ages 6-12)
Emphasis is placed on basic body mechanics and skill development on bars, beam, floor and vault.

Rollers II (ages 6-12)
Same emphasis as Rollers with more advanced skill development.

Swingers/Kippers (ages 9-17)
Advanced training on gymnastic skill development on bars, beam, floor and vault. Participants must be able to perform a cartwheel, round-off and backbend on the first day of class and have an understanding of basic gymnastic skills. If the skills are not met the child will be moved to Rollers or Rollers II.
