About the program
Teen Leaders Club is a year-long, YMCA-based leadership-development program for middle and high school teens. This program provides teens in 6th-12th grade with leadership training and volunteer opportunities that support YMCA programs and the community at-large by focusing on personal development in the YMCA core values: respect, responsibility, caring, and honesty and putting it into action.
In addition to learning leadership through service, Teen Leaders also participate in team-building workshops, character and skill development retreats known as rallies, fundraising, training, and activities that promote personal growth and social development. The fee for the Hilltop Y purchases a member shirt, snacks for the club and scholarships.
Come to our meetings every 1st and 3rd Mondays at 6:00p-7:00p at the Hilltop YMCA. For more information, contact our advisor Latoyia Mosley at hilltopteenstaff@ymcacolumbus.org. New members are always welcome. You do not need to be a member of the YMCA to participate.
