About the program
Leaders Club is a year-long, YMCA-based leadership-development program for middle and high school teens. This program provides teens with leadership training and volunteer opportunities that support YMCA programs and services the community at-large. In addition to learning leadership through service, Teen Leaders also participate in team-building workshops, character and skill development retreats known as rallies, fundraising, trainings, and activities that promote personal growth and social development. The fee for the Hilltop Y purchases a member shirt, snacks for the club and scholarships. Meetings are weekly on Tuesdays at 4:30p (subject to change).
In addition to learning leadership through service, Teen Leaders we will embrace good sportsmanship in every activity and lesson. Through this program, YMCA leaders will empower your child to reach their full potential by fostering a sense of belonging, realizing and celebrating achievement, and cultivating positive relationships. Our goal is to empower your child to thrive for years to come! The fee for the Hilltop Y purchases a member shirt, snacks for the club and scholarships.
Meetings will be held in the Teen Room at the Hilltop YMCA. For more information, contact our advisor Jeremy Tolbert at jeremy.tolbert@ymcacolumbus.org. New members are always welcome. You do not need to be a member of the YMCA to participate.
