For most options below, you may log in to your YMCA account by clicking My Account at the top of our site.
If your email isn’t working, try the forgot password link or contact your YMCA.
Watch For Misleading Claims
Some third-party companies falsely claim they can manage changes to your Y membership for a fee. These companies are not affiliated with the Y and often mislead individuals for profit. You never have to pay to change or cancel your membership.
Click My Account at the top of our site. Then go to Membership Billing to update and review your payment information. Membership billing changes must be made in person or in writing.
Monthly Payment Options
Monthly membership fees are deducted from your bank account via:
- Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) from a checking/savings account
- Credit card draft
Annual & Program Payment Options
Annual and program payments are one-time payments. We accept:
- Credit card
- Debit card or checking/savings account
- Checking account
- Cash (in-person)
- Check (in-person)
- Browse programs at ymcacolumbus.org/hub.
- Choose your program.
- Log in to your account to complete registration.
- Log in to your account.
- Click Pay My Balance at the top of the screen (in the Account menu on mobile).
- Log in to your account.
- Choose Edit Profile near your name.
- Choose “Yes” under Primary Phone
To stay up to date with the latest at your YMCA, we'll send text messages about:
- Program cancellations
- Facility closures
- Opportunities to further your impact
- Key registration dates
- Other updates
You may also download our app, YMCA360, to receive notifications, sign up for classes and more.

- Look for Documents in the bottom right.
- Click the Waiver or Year-end Child Care Statement for the year you need.

Everyone must be part of your household to be added to your membership.
How to Add, Upgrade or Downgrade Your Membership
Visit Member Services at your local YMCA Community Center to make a change.
Household Memberships
Includes up to two adults and all dependents (age 24 and under) in the same household.

Adult: Ages 30+
Young Adult: Ages 18-29
Teen: Ages 12-17
If you provide less than 30 days' notice for the upgrade, a $20 fee will be applied so that additional family members have immediate access to the Y.
Once per calendar year, monthly members may put their membership on hold for up to 90 days. While your membership is on hold, you cannot access YMCA facilities or program rates for members.
How to Request a Hold
- Submit a request using our Membership Hold Form.
- Visit Member Services at your local YMCA Community Center.
