Children and families in the Near East Side face a growing equity gap today. Traumatic experiences, food insecurity, fears of community safety and inadequate educational resources are all holding our neighbors back from reaching their full potential. Eliminating these challenges requires the support of a whole community. This May, these leaders and institutions have taken action towards a more just neighborhood with the Eldon & Elsie Ward Family YMCA by sponsoring the 17th Annual Eldon & Elsie Ward Family YMCA Legacy Event.
